Debra JoAn Huffman, age 47, Billings, Missouri, passed away peacefully, Friday, June 23, 2017, after a courageous fight. She was born September 25, 1969 and was a lifelong resident of Billings. She continues her mission of gathering new friends and making connections in heaven now.

Debbie was an incredible mother. Nothing on the earth mattered more to her than her boys. Debbie was a devoted wife. Her support of her husband never wavered. Debbie was an amazing daughter, sister, in-law, niece, cousin, and friend. Her dazzling smile, vivacious spirit, and infectious laughter will be remembered by everyone lucky enough to have spent just a few minutes with her. When you see snow, think of Debbie.

I am so sorry to hear of Debbie's passing. Debbie and I worked at Smith-Glynn together and instantly became friends. She was such a beautiful person inside and out. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Bill, the boys, Karen, and Ann. Heaven gained an angel with Debbie, there is definitely a lot more laughter and smiles up there now! She was truly a great mother to her boys!! I will always treasure the hours we had together at Mary Harter's house preparing the food for the loss of Mary Harter! She spoke about "this awful thing that she unfortunately had happen to her" not in a feeling sorry for herself, or complaining way. Debbie spoke in a determined, fighting, and optimistic way! She wanted to give information to help others, and was so courageous! I still admire that about the grace she had when talking to me that day about what she had been dealt!! I will never forget that! RIP Debbie you will never be forgotten!
Our prayers and sympathy to Bill, those sweet boys & all the family as you say good bye to Debbie until you meet again.  We have fond memories of Debbie growing up, always bursting with a sweet smile and having fun.  May you feel peace in your hearts.
We want to extend condolences for your loss.  All of our Zell family want to let you know how sorry we are.  To Ann, Joe, and their two sisters, we remember you at this time and are very sorry for your loss.  May God bless you with His comfort.  Carolyn, Fred and Diane Zell
So sorry , your family are in my prayers
Debbie was everything great about being alive.  When I saw her anywhere, we ran to each other and bear-hugged every single time.  From her unimstakable love of life to her unmatched sense of humor, Debster lit up every room she ever entered.  So much love to all Debbie's family from all of us, her extended family.  We'll carry Debbie's laugh and love in our hearts forever -- and we'll always be here for each of you.  Feel our strength -- we are ALL Debbie's legacy!!
Class reunions will never be the same without Debbie. Her laughter was one of the things I looked forward to hearing  she will be missed   My condolences to her family can't be expressed here
Debbie was in the first graduating class that I taught at Billings High School.  She was so onery, but she didn't fool me.  I saw right through that to her tender heart.  If Debbie thought something was funny (which was quite often), everyone knew it.  I can still hear her laughter ringing through the halls.  I am so sad that she is gone.  The world has lost a bright star, but I bet Heaven livened up when she got there!  My heart goes out to the family.  I know there are no words that can take away your hurt.  May the Lord comfort each of you as you try to get through this very difficult time.  Until we meet again, Debbie, rest in peace.
Debbie, we became friends in Jr. High when we played softball on the DQ team one summer. We cheered together, laughed together, went through all the growing pains, like family. I will miss you and you loving, caring attitude.
I will always cherish Debbie's infectious laugh, positive spirit and our shared love for music. God Bless.
I worked with Debbie for many years. We became good friends over the years. She was an awesome person and everyone loved just being around her. I will miss her incredible personality and laughter that filled any room. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. God Bless.
Debbie will be missed by all who was lucky enough to know her, my prayer and thoughts are with you
What a beatiful tribute written about Debbie -- Prayers of comfort for the family in the days ahead.
What beautiful words to describe such a sweet person as Debbie.  When I think of Debbie, I immediately think of her laughing and the kindness she showed to whoever she was around.  Praying for comfort and peace that passes all understanding for your entire family in the days ahead and may the many, many treasured memories bring you comfort.   (Karen and Ann: When I think of snow I think of my mom too -- (if Debbie and Vivian have any say in the matter) -- there might just be a blizzard this year.)
My thoughts and prayers to the family. She was a very special and courageous lady!
