Jeremy Duane Groves, age 41, Billings, Missouri, passed away Sunday, September 24, 2017, in Cox South Hospital, Springfield, Missouri. He was born April 20, 1976 in Springfield, Missouri, to James Darrell and Judy (Huston) Groves. He graduated from Billings High School in 1994. He was united in marriage to Pamela Periman on July 28, 2000, in Ozark, Missouri.

Jeremy worked on the family farm and various other jobs, finishing his career with Springfield Stripping and Sealing.

Jeremy is survived by his wife, Pamela; a son, Cody Lane Groves; a stepson, Tray Meyers; his parents; a sister, Jennifer (Danny) Stanley; a nephew, Jimmy Jo Yarberry; his mother-in-law, Janice Smith; sister-in-law, Regina (Daniel) Cobb; 13 nieces and nephews; two great nephews, three great nieces; other relatives and a host of friends.

There will be a visitation from 6 to 8 P.M., Wednesday, September 27, 2017, in Meadors Funeral Home, Billings, Missouri. The graveside service will be at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, September 28, 2017, in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Springfield, Missouri.

Jeremy is in a better place. He is free from the cares and the worries of the world. We pray that he is accepted with open arms into the joyous place we call heaven and is enjoying life ever after. I send my condolences to my sister Judy and her family. Love you all
