LOIS ANN SALYERS Monday, June 19, 1933 - Saturday, September 23, 2017

Lois Ann (Pennington) Salyers age 84, Billings, Missouri, passed away September 23, 2017, in her home. She was born June 19, 1933, in Elliott County, Kentucky, the daughter of A.C. and Rickie (White) Pennington.

At the age of 16 years, she made her choice to serve the Lord, remaining faithful the rest of her life. She was a graduate of Rio Grande College in Ohio.

On June 27, 1955, Lois was united in marriage to Andrew Edgar Salyers. Two children were born to this union, Elizabeth Ann and Gary Edgar. After living in Ohio, Kentucky and California, they settled near Billings, Missouri, in 1967. Lois enjoyed caring for her family, gardening, and reading.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Brenton Wade Salyers. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Edgar, a daughter Elizabeth (Henry) Weeda; a son, Gary (Elizabeth) Salyers; grandchildren, Shane ( Alaina) Salyers, Heather (Kyle) Newman, Andrew Weeda, and Ashley Salyers; three great grandchildren, Sean, Seth, and Irelyn Salyers; a brother, Elwood (Delores) Pennington: two nieces, Deanna (Dale) Jones, Debra (Terry) Setser; a nephew, Dean (Kristen) Pennington; their families, and a host of friends.

There will be a visitation 10 to 11 A.M., with the funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 26, 2017, in Meadors Funeral Home, Republic, Missouri.
Burial in the Salyers Family Cemetery, 841 Rose Hill Road, Billings, Missouri, will follow the service.
