MRS. INEZ KELTNER Friday, November 27, 1914 - Thursday, March 30, 2017

Mrs. Inez Keltner, age 102, lifelong resident of Battlefield, Mo. went to be with her Lord in heaven on Thursday, March 30, 2017. She was born November, 27, 1914 in Greene County, Mo., the daughter of James and Sarah Hampton.

Inez was united in marriage to Howard Keltner on March 11, 1939, and enjoyed 51 years of marriage before his passing on March 21, 1990. She was also preceded in death by her brother Ray Hampton; and son Jerry Keltner.

Inez is survived by her daughter, Judy (Gary) Deering; son, Ronnie Joe Keltner (Ruth Hanes); five grandchildren, Cathy, Christie, Cindy, Randy and Jennifer; ten great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter, and a host of friends. Inez was beautiful inside and out and loved by all. We will miss her dearly.

A visitation will be held from 6 - 8 p.m. on Monday, April 3, 2017 in Meadors Funeral Home, Republic, Mo. Funeral services will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 4, 2017, also in the funeral home, with burial to follow the service in Evergreen Cemetery, Republic. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Battlefield United Methodist Church, 5475 S. Daniel St., Brookline Station, MO 65619. Online condolences may be shared on this website.

Judy and Ronnie, very sorry to hear of your mother's home going. She is at peace in the gracious hands of our loving Father. 102 years of age what a life of precious memories to cling to. Prayers for peace and comfort for your families.
