NEOMA WHITE Thursday, September 2, 1920 - Tuesday, September 12, 2017
Neoma White was born September 2, 1920 in Stone County to David and Retha (Wright) Curbow. She passed away September 12, 2017 in Willard Care Center at the age of 97 years and 10 days.
She was united in marriage to Everett White March 8, 1941. They were married for 48 years before his death on September 24, 1989.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; and two sisters.
She is survived by her son, Charles White and wife Danni, of Springfield; two daughters, Flo Miekley and her husband Les, of Billings, and Wynona Bradley, of Springfield; one brother, Verrell Curbow, of Springfield; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.
Neoma lived her entire life in Stone County except the last three years. She lived with her daughter and son in law one year prior to moving the Willard Care Center.
Along with farming, she worked at a garment factory; Royal McBee typewriter; and 20 years for Wal-Mart.
She liked to cook, read, and loved spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, September 14, 2017 in Meadors Funeral Home, 304 E. Drive St., Clever, MO 65631.
